Edmonton is centrally located in the province of Alberta in western Canada.
Our time zone is GMT -6 which is Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) during the summer months.

We are excited to host this active event in Edmonton and we are working hard to make sure that it will be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
The ICF Canoe Polo Committee is working with us to make this a world-class experience.

The World Canoe Polo Championships have been held in the following countries:

Warning: For those who intend on using accommodations other than our Athlete´s Village at the U of A, Lister Conference Centre, please be aware that the Edmonton Grand Prix car race has been scheduled for the weekend of July 26 and this may well place great pressure on local hotels before and after the actual date of the race.
If you wish to use local hotels, place your reservations early.
